As we approach our first year in the market, we have recorded an unprecedented amount of growth in player engagement. Although an overwhelming majority of our players are well-behaved, it goes with the territory to have some agents who intend to manipulate the game through exploits.
To solve this, we have taken steps to ensure fair play across the board. The team began by banning accounts but as some of these entities created new accounts and transferred assets, we had to find ways to enforce our policies of fair play.
Apart from banning accounts, we have also rolled out an NFT banning system that punishes players who exploit the game by banning both NFT Anito assets and equipment crafted with the Rite of Ipa-Likha.
Banned Anito NFT assets :
- will not be playable in the game
- will not be burnable on Rite of Ipa-Alam
- will have a BANNED jail marker if it is in the marketplace
The team takes security seriously. This is but the first of many ways we are taking action to ensure a safe and fair environment for all players. We would also like to thank the community members who help identify and report such anomalies so that our security team can take a look and verify anomalous behavior. As game developers with more than a decade of experience in building games, we already know what to look for when it comes to anomalous behavior on the backend.
